Open Question: Confused about my vocal type... Help?

Hey everyone, I am a singer, but I can not figure out what my vocal type is. At first I thought I was a mezzo-soprano or even a contralto, because my lower range usually extends to about F#3 and often F3 or E3, but now I am unsure, because I was practicing scales one day and I hit an F#6!
